In order to sell the phone with the remainder of the 1-year limited warranty, you must include a warranty letter (if it was shipped) or a point of sale cash receipt, if it was purchased in a store. Excluding any of these, the buyer will not have a valid 1-year warranty and may only be able to honour the warranty based on the date code, which will reduce the warranty of the handset to only 90-days if a problem were to happen with it.
