Just to let you know, the Nikon D80 does not take this battery. It takes an EN-EL3e.

EN-EL3a and EN-EL3e is basically the same thing! So it will work with D80 and D200!

Did you read the D80 manual page 13? If you are not sure don't give a wrong information to the buyer.

dude, is a known fact! these two battery are the same! people using D70s that switch to D200 or D80 can use there old battery... is just a different model number...

D50... EN-EL3
D70/D70s... EN-EL3a
D80... EN-EL3e
D200... EN-EL3e

They are all interchangable...

I am not trying to abuse your thread but here is the info from Nikon Canada Website:

No offense fordfocus but you should at least read the nikon website. It's a well-known fact that the ENEL3a will NOT work in the D80 or the D200.

I'm not one to threadcrap but I do have a problem with you advertising that it will work in the D80/D200. IT WILL NOT WORK. You seem to disagree. I encourage you to try and if it works, i'll buy you a D200.

The EN-EL3e batteries for the D80 and D200 Nikon SLR cameras have three electrical contact points. The battery being sold here has only two. I personally do not know if it will work or not, but I suspect without three contacts to match those in the camera, there could be issues. as the D80 sells for $1279 camera body only and the D200 for $1969 camera body only, I don't believe I would chance it.
