The Nikkor 24-85mm f/2.8-4.0 D Autofocus Zoom lens is a versatile zoom lens for any photographer. Mechanical construction takes advantage of strong materials that are resilient and good looking. A comfortable, well-balanced feel makes this 3.5x zoom lens ideal for landscape, full length portraits, travel and portrait photographs. You will receive high resolution prints through use of aspherical lens elements. This minimizes the distortion that is seen in wider angle shots to avoid vignetting (the barreling effect).

Features of this lens include Internal Focusing (IF) which assures that the filter attachment does not rotate during focusing or zooming. Another benefit is the fast f/2.8 maximum aperture at the 24mm setting which is ideal for available light shooting or Slow/Rear flash sync techniques. A powerful 1:2 macro reproduction ratio allows for a 1/2 life size close up capability. Nikon's AF Zoom 24-85mm f/2.8-4.0 D lens is sure to become a valued addition to any photographer's bag.

Includes hood, bag, box, manual. Just about new. $400

I recently bought this lens from another RFD seller for $150 more. It's a great lens. Verstile and fast. At the price, I wouldn't think twice if I didn't already have one. Good luck with the sale!

$150 more? Maybe I should up the price a bit :) Nah. If this doesn't sell, I'll probably keep it for the 1:2 macro along with the 18-200 and 80-400.
