my dell 2005FPW menu buttons stopped working so dell replaced it for me with a brand new 2007FPW. What do you guys think?

Damn right.
But, with the original question.
So your choice is.
a. Keep the existing LCD and have no working buttons
or
b. Get a NEWER model of the same monitor with everything working.
Really tough choice.
