TV Tuner?

Hi all

I was wondering if I purchased a tv tuner would I be able to access my Bell Expressvu on it?


If so how would I go about doing so?

You can capture the analog output from your ExpressVu tuner with any TV capture card.

I have ExpressVu (Standard Definition, not HD) and a PVR-150 from Hauppauge. Connect the coax out from the 3100 (Sat tuner box) to the coax in on the PVR-150, and tell whatever software you're using to look for channel 3.

You have to change channels on your Sat receiver, but you can automate that. Personally, I use the haupblast plugin for GBPVR to control the box. GBPVR works great - although the image quality isn't quite as good as DScaler, the Zap2It scheduler and channel list is excellent, and the plugin for the IR blaster makes it very easy to use.
