It's that stupid show-off aspect of the rising black entertainment industry. Look at all these rappers/hiphop artists who get the one big hit and all of a sudden, spending like there's no tomorrow not to mention an expansion of their posse.

Ya man I agree with you. The show off-y and the obnoxious stuff that rappers have to get to maintain their image is getting out of hand. All that gold chains, golden grillz, ESCALADEs with spinners (I admit those things are cool when u stop and they keep going, but the fact that taxis have it w/ ads on it kinda of kills the appeal :lol: ). Well as long as they keep getting hits they will be able to finance it.

I wonder what Eddy Murphy or Alfonso Ribiero is doing. What about Will Smith? They can't all be in dire financial situations.

Will Smith was never about the bling. He's a smart dude. He had a full ride scholarship to Caltech (and some other Ivy League school) but Bel Air came on and he didn't need to go that route anymore.
