Did a search could not find this anywhere...

When is it? It starts Sunday, October 15, 2006 at 00:00:01 ET (one second after midnight on October 15, 2006) and ends Sunday, October 22, 2006 at 23:59:59 ET (one second before midnight on September 22, 2006).

Who is eligible? Any Canadian resident eBay member who has never listed any item for sale as well as those who have tried selling on eBay and never been successful. Only your first five listings will be eligible.

What is excluded? Motors Vehicles, Stores Inventory Listings, Business and Industrial Capital Equipment, Real Estate Auction Format listings and Real Estate Ad Format listings will not be included in this promotion. The feature fee for the Value Pack feature bundle (which includes Gallery) will remain unchanged. The promotional rate does not apply to listings that start before the promotional period, but are then revised between October 15-22, 2006. The promotional rate also does not apply to listings created during the promotion October 15-22, 2006, but scheduled to start after the promotion ends.

Cool. Didn't know about the RFD link before - I will be using it.

I don't understand why eBay doesn't offer more of these promotions for current sellers. There must be a saturation point where everyone who wants to sell on eBay already has an account.

I don't know why this 5 free listings for new sellers isn't a standard thing. I have considered selling things many times before but I always figure I will wait for the 5 free - then I end up being out of town when it is on. I figure no point in listing if I won't be home to answer questions etc..

I don't think eBay is close to hitting that point. :)

It comes around fairly often, and this time you have multiple days to take advantage of it.
