Not really post-specific, but why do these US-only posts keep getting posted??
The site is redflagdeals, not bluewhiteandredflagdeals........may be a good deal, but not in this country.
If this is obviously a drunken rant with no merit please disregard, otherwise.....WTF???!!!???

I would assume SATA 2 is backwards compatible with SATA motherboards or ??

yah you can use sata II with older sata there is usually a jumper on the drive to ensure compatability.

I actually had purchased one of these tonight before I read this post. I get it shipped to www.thelettercarrier.com. Therefore I get free shipping. Then when I pick it up, I only pay the GST/PST, no duty. I've never been charged duty by customs on computer products even though they were not made in North America. As per NAFTA, computer products made in North America are exempt from duty. The customs officers don't care if they're not made in North America, they just are happy you are claiming it at the border. I've bought so much stuff from Frys/Outpost.com in the past. If you can get it shipped to a postal outlet or a an Amerifriend, it's worth it.
