I have heard from some ppl that spring is better than the winter since there is more rain during that time....

I was told by Krown Rust that summer is the best. "The oil works better" he said. I personally wouldn't be thinking about winter or rust proof in the middle of the summer ;)

If you have not had it done yet, before winter starts is the best time.

Overall, generally the best time is May or early June. It's warm enough for the oil to work best. Then it sets in for the humid months of July and August where rusting occurs at a much faster rate.

Or you can get a fibreglass car

I do mine in August, allowing time to seep into all the crevices, etc. before winter.

If it is a new car, or never been done, do it now before snow/salt arrives.

Winter is the worst time. Get it done quick!

I like August timing. I may do that for next year.
