What happens if you are on g2 and have an accident that you were cleared of (taken to court) but had already gone through insurance?
plus when you get your full G, does your insurance go down?

you were not cleared of the accident - just the ticket associated with it
so the accident remains
sorry :\

thanks, but doesn't your insurance go down after getting your full g license?

Yes it goes down when you get your G, compared to what you were paying at G2. But if you have an accident on your record your rates will likely go up by more than the discount for G2 -> G. So overall your rates will go up.
If you had been convicted of the traffic charges you could have seen an even bigger increase, so it is still worth something that you were able to beat the ticket.

your accedient does not clear from the insurence compnay's records. So to keep it short no your insurance does not go down. But there wont be a great increase either since your ticket is cleared.

yah there was almost no point in me going to court, but I got my demerits dropped, if they were there then my insurance would be a lot higher :(

Demerit points have no effect on insurance rates.
Insurance looks at number of convictions and types of convictions.
