Hi,
Just picked up my new car yesterday and hoping to keep it for awhile. Can anyone recommend a good quality shop that performs waxing and farbic protection services for a new car? Do I also need etching?
Also, is it too soon to wax the car?
Thanks alot:)

Check the build date on your car; if it's been made in the past 4 weeks i'd wait a a little before waxing. But in all likelihood (sp?) it wasn't so you can wax right away.
As for fabric protectant; your better off buying a couple of cans of 3M Scotchguard and do it your self rather than paying someone else $150 to do the same thing for you.

the car's built date is actually sept 20, so only 3 weeks have passed.
Is it too soon to wax now?

I did my tinting through these guys, but they also do detailing.
Located in Richmond in the Automall, beside the Nissan dealership, across from the Toyota dealership.

if you dont wash your car like once a month or something then ull have to get them to use some really good synthetic products like FMJ (Full Molecular Jacket) wax and sealant or the longest lasting natural carnauba wax is the Collinite #467S which would last about 8 months on avg in vancouver's rainy weather
i would recommend you give your car to detailers twice a year
