Hello everyone,

Just wondering what your suggestion is on removing rust streaks.
Particularly, its on the back of my van (Previa), right under the rear wiper blade.

The wiper blade is rusted, and there's a streak of rust under it.
I just got the car (hand me down from my sister) and god knows she doesnt care/look there.

Just wondering, since I now take care of the car, is there anything I can do to make it less visible?

I was thinking CLR (I remember watching CLR commercials since I was small, it seems good at removing rust) but is that safe for the paint?

Thanks for helping a RFDer out ^___^

You need a rust converter.

Forgot about rust check converter it is just junk

PlastiKote Rust Not, is better but not that better.

The best is Eastwood converter with the rust encapsulator.

Try Mr. Clean Magic Eraser but remember to moisten it first. It acts like an erase r, gentler than the finest sand paper. Worth a try and better than looking at rust streaks. Ask your Mom/sister/girlfriend/mistress, she probably has a box with her cleaning supplies.

A fine polishing compound will work well, but be careful with it as you can create swirls with it.
