Anyone heard of this brand of HIDs? Seems they're from Germany? Anyone have experience? All help appreciated.

One of my friends is actually running a group buy on them right now. I also helped another buddy install his Dectane HID kit awhile ago... it's pretty good. The kit he got included a wiring harness so the ballasts are powered straight from the battery, as opposed to most of the HID drop in kits out there being powered through the stock wiring harness that powers the regular halogen bulbs. I dunno about longevity wise though, as he only got them earlier in the summer, but the included wiring harness is definitely a bonus, saves you the time of making your own, or if you never intended to make one, it'll save your stock wiring in the long run.

if you are buying HIDs don't bother unless you are buying proper shuttered projection head lights to go with them. no only will you blind everyone in front of you cops will ticket you.

toronto cops dont give out tickets for hid's. Small towns maybe, but ive never had a problem and I've driven through some pretty conservative states and havn't been pulled over.
When I do get pulled over the cops never mention anything about my plug n play H4 HID's.

I sold my HID kit and got a Projector Bi-Xenon with OEM HID kit from an Infinti.
The light aim far and cut off line is clear....no glare...
I wasnt happy with my old HID kit, yes, it's blue and it's bright, but doesnt aim far, and the glare looks
crap.
Projector is the way to go.

i've never used an hid kit before... but i would think as long as it's installed in gd headlights and aimed properly it should be fine...
i actually kinda hate some improperly aimed/installed hids... glare/blinds so badly when ur car is so low...
actually... i also hate those people that drive with their high beams on all the time cause they think it's cool to have brighter lights... (i have a friend that does this)
ive never been pulled over for mine either...

so why do they stop people for little things like license plate covers =/

hey mexx, i dunno but recently i have been noticing ALOT of cars with HID out there that have had a bulb blown out... these are new cars as well, some of them with aftermarket hid and some that are factory... i thought these HID bulbs are supposed to last longer than stock??
