I have a 1998 Toyota RAV4. Currently my power windows are not working from all doors. So I am assuming it's the fuse. I've looked at the fuse boxes (one at the left bottom of the dash and 2 under the hood) but cannot find the fuse for the power windows. Also, I've checked all the fuses in the fuse boxes that I've found and the fuse were ok. Maybe the wiring is bad for the windows or there is another fuse box somewhere? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

How did you check the fuses?

Grab a multimeter and check them all once more (make sure they go back in the right spot! However... you should be able to check them without removing them by using the contacts on the top)

If the fuses are all good, it could be a burnt/cut wire or something inside somewhere. Or possibly a bad ground connection, though I doubt a single bad ground would disable the entire set of windows.

Grab a multimeter and check the fuses. Then, if you're up for it, take off a door panel or whatever (I;m not familiar with the RAV4 interior) and check if theres power at the switch, motor, etc. Check for ground too by using continuity between the ground connection and the body of the car.

Be careful what wires touch what if you start unplugging things. Could blow a fuse or potentially fry something.

I checked the fuse by pulling them out and looking at them and they seem to be ok. it's weird that the caps on the fuse boxes does not list the fuse for the power windows so I assumed that there may be another fuse box somewhere. I am not a car guy so even if I can open up the panels to the doors, I don't know what to look for and do with it.

Do you have the owner's manual? It should show where the fuse boxes are.

take your manual to canadian tire auto centre. They'll find the right fuse, take it out, and replace it. They should have the fuse you want. In fact i'd be surprised if they didnt, being a Toyota.

this is a silly suggestion, but did you check the switch that disables the windows? I'm not sure whether that will disable all, or all but driver's side, but it's worth a shot.
