I have tried the kits twice and I recommend you go to a glass shop. The kits are not as good as they look and the results may not last vey long. I actually wiped the repair away when I cleaned the rear glass (after a few months of doing the repair). The repairs done by a glass shop are much better.

hm, what would it cost me to get a break in 1 line fixed at a glass shop though?

A few years ago, Apple Auto Glass charged $40, but it was waranteed and It worked till I sold the car 3 years later.
