We need to get new tires, probably tomorrow.
My fiance wants to go to CT, and get them there.
We would buy all season/regular tires as it doesn't snow enough to get winter tires here.

How much is the average cost for 4 tires? I/we have no clue, would 4 tires be 200 or 1000?

Thanks for the replies

Also Goodyear, Motomaster, Uniroyal, BF Goodrich, and Michelin...which brands are decent which are crappy.

Thx

first thing is what size? second when you know that go here

www.tiretrends.com. search for the size you need read the reviews and find something with good reviews in your budget

yeah generally tiretrends has the best prices in canada

usually michelin, bridgestone, falken, and continental make good tires
but of course there are good and bad tires coming from each of the manufacturers

so yeah, first step is for you to tell us or that webpage what ur car is (model, year, trim) and if its on the original wheels from a upgrade package or not

and the current tires on it so we can determine the speed/load ratings necessary for your car

if its a common family sized passenger car, a good all-seasons is michelin tripletread from costco...

there is also falken ziex-512 that is a good deal
ziex-512, its about $90~100 per tire or around that depending on size and rating
its a very good tire and definately the price reflects on it

so for tires, $100 per tire is pretty much the least you will have to spend
it can go all the way up to $1500 for ordinary all-season tires on ordinary cars

Size is an imporant factor. Let's assume that you drive a normal sedan with size 195/55/15 or simialr. They go for around 100$ each depends on brands and size.

Ready to pay around 500-600$ for these 4 seasons tires (assuming your tires are common tire size)

Generally for 'good' tires that'll last you for a few years 90-120 per tire is pretty normal.

Goodyear, Michelin and BF Goodrich are higher tier, while Uniroyal can be classes in mid to high with Motomaster towards the lower end.

If you're willing to wait Canadian Tire usually has some decent deals when it comes to brand name tires, generally 20-30 off the retail price per tire for Michelin, BFGs and Goodyear. However every now and then they'll throw Dunlops or other brands in as well on sale.
