You want to go to a shop to have it installed? If they're going to run the wiring from the deck>amp>speakers expect to pay a lot. Not worth it with a "basic" amp. Either run the wiring yourself, its not hard but the weather sucks for doing this now, or sell it.

is it a mono amp just for the sub?
if so then why not mount it onto the sub box

Stick it in the truck.
And make sure that your fuse is more than 12" MAX from the battery.

That's the thing... I don't even know what you're talking about... and I don't really have the time to learn to install this thing... If I can pay someone $50 to just hook it up to the battery and tap into the high level output from the rear wires, I think it's well worth it.
Yeah, worth it until the amp shorts out direct to the battery and because there is no fuse the battery explodes, destroys your car and you get ZERO insurance coverage because of an improper installation.

If you're in the Scarborough area, Lockdown Enterprises does a great job at installing. I had my system done there.
