The CIBC Dividend Visa is a no fee 1% cashback card with no minimum purchase.

i recently got the aeroplan visa from cibc
basic one is $29/yr and get 1 aeroplan pt every 2 dollars
the gold is better, but cost $129/yr and has insurance
well worth it if u spend a lot as u get 1pt every dollar
15000 gets u 2 mtl or NY so...

If you don't mind keeping a $5k balance in a TD deposit account, consider the TD Gold Elite (full 1% cash back -- not tiered) or TD Travel Visa (1 mile/$1 spent; I forget the cash equivalent). The annual fee is waived indefinitely.

why not look into setting up a line of credit at a bank?
