cd/dvd scratch repair device

I've got a bunch of somewhat scratched cd's that I want to add to my digital library i'm building. Other then the old fashoned polish/toothpaste & rubbing in a circle is there a consumer machine that will do it for you? (with decent reviews).

Just in case anyone searches and finds this thread. There is a silver/metal polish called "Brasso" Made by Reckitt Benckiser in Canada. It works much better then the toothpaste/car polish/sanding methods. It has done the trick on the couple of problem disks that I had.
