Thinking of watching this show.. anybody else?

From the previews, it looks like it's the same as the movie, but longer and more in depth look as a TV series...

There's also "Two-A-Days" on MTV :cheesygri

I watched last week's episode. Each episode spans a week. There is potential here, but it didn't grab me really. I watched it because it was on instead of House MD  It was on again tonight, but I didn't bother.

Well we've been watching it. With 2 boys playing highschool division 1 football how could we not. ;)

It's loosely based on the movie. A combo of Friday Night Lights and Varsity Blues. It really does have a ring of truth to it when it comes to the southern US football culture. The only thing that I find somewhat annoying is the way the show is filmed. It seems to filmed in that handheld camera, documentary style of filming. I think there is definite potential for this show, it's going to depend though on how far they push it though.
