Yeah, I think a helluva lotta people still play. And it'll be a bigger number once the expansion hits.

I played, I'd start again if it weren't for that monthly fee...

... I'm so cheap... :|

Remember, you can buy a 14 day subscription [w/disc of the game] @ Futureshop for only $1.99. *NO* credit card info. has to be provided. The receipt prints up a $1.99 off of purchase of the full game. They had these discs at the till, at an Alberta Futureshop just last week. :)

Plenty still do so it's not too late...did you not believe what people said when you asked the first time (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=346255&highlight=warcraft)? :p

I think you still need a full version to play after the 14 day trial ends.

14 day trial caps you alot though . cant receive mail /open trade with people cant have more then 20 gold i think as well as limits you to only lvl 20 .

alot of people still play if you plan on buying the game fresh look on the website for a newer server or one that people you know started on so that you might get help and tips when needed. older servers tend to be more costly to level up on.

I quit after 8 months into it. Felt like a job. It ruins you. Don't do it.

"uh high, my name is chris ,and im a warcraft addict. i eat, sleap and live warcraft. I surf the website durring work, and write down strategies on pieces of used cleanex tissues that i wiped my nose with, i also dont shower for days, and i stink, i have lice in my hair, my breath smells like haletosis, and i dont know how to get rid of it so i dont let it bother me. Plus, i once joined this warcraft 1-week long online turnament where i eat/sleap/and play warcraft, i just so happened to book a week off work which co-insided exactly with this turnament, I lost bad, but oh well, it was worth the fun..
I once even got written up from work, and also got suspended from using the internet because i was surfing on the WOW homepage and accidentally left it open on my managers computer and monday morning he saw it when he got in to work and i got in big trouble they banned the internet at work cus of me."

That reminds me. I see some dude playing it on his latop in some of my math classes. The funny thing is that the cooling fan is quite loud (its a Vaio) and it is quite disturbing if you are close enough.

A friend of mine plays it, I don't see how it is affecting him though lol. I personally would rather play FEAR Combat.
