I also need to find a reasonably priced, but classy forum in which to hold a large wedding in toronto... Toronto island is too expensive for the amount of guests I envision, the CN tower is way out, etc...

Destro, I've never heard of anyone using the CN Tower for a wedding. You may want to try Casa Loma, Liberty Grand or the Eglington Grand (pricey but unique) or go value oriented and go to Vaughan/Woodbridge.
