Yes, it is a Mandarin Orange, a subset of Oranges in general.

Like how Apples have Fuji, Brayburn, Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, etc.

its not an orange is it?? Mandarins are much smaller, sweeter, sour, and a darker shade of orange...

Its a member of the citrus family but I wouldnt call it an orange.. They're more like clementines then anything
