I've been drying to remember the name and artist for that song that's always played at bars and pubs at the end of the night, with the violins after the chorus. I know the tune and could hum it but the lyrics I don't know that well.

You have to excuse me...
I'm over da duh,
I've been dah dah dah da,
dad da da da da da.

violins

I know it's not much but help me out please. I'm counting on you guys!

Thanks.

That's a great song!
Always gets the blood pumping in the bars when I'm drunk.

Great Big Sea does a version of Home For a Rest -- they are definately an East-Coast band.

Wicked, Thx for sharing that. Now I'll have to add both songs to the playlist since its technically a different band, I can get away with playing the same song 2 times in the same nite at a club. -
