I absolutely love them when I go to the EX (CNE) in the summer but i noticed that I cant find a place that makes them like that?... anyone have any suggestions where to find them? and its not like a very very oily deep fry, just a light one where the skin is a soft crisp.. hopefully someone else has tried them at the Ex that knows what i'm talking about... I'm not sure but...
Wayne Gretzky's restaurant has perogies (appetizers section):

or buy frozen perogies from supermarket and fry them yourself

I usually make my own....really it's NOT that hard.
You can crisp them withput frying.
I usually brush some kind of sauce on them when they are defrosted (could be hot sauce, teriyaki..whatever).
and then just put them in the oven until crisp, turn them over and then do the same to the other side.
serve them w a side of sour cream or dip....
it's nice/easy to serve at parties also :cheesygri

i think that every year. I asked them a couple of years ago, and they said they have a shop. I don't know where it is though or if it's still around. It should be though because for the last two years they have had two booths and their is a third by a different company.
