Duff's Famous Armageddon Wings

Very very uncomfortable. I think that's the max I can do.

45 whole jalapeņos in a 15 minute contest at the "Taste of Vancouver" at the Plaza of Nations. I came in second and got a $50 Las Margaritas gift certificate. I was full since I ate lunch before hand, otherwise I coulda beat the 60 that won.

I guess I'm a relatively pathetic spicy food eateer compared to the above posters, but since moving to Toronto my tolerance for spicy food has increased significantly..
At one place I go to for wings, at first I could barely stand the mediums, and now I've graduated to hots(although I still sweat buckets)

Another is the chili chicken at a hakka joint, really tasty and I can enjoy it more now than before.

Mmm..all this food talk so early on a friday...getting hungry, bring on the heat!!

I can't take the initial bunch of spicy food, but after taking water(or any cold liquid heh) and eating more, I just don't stop :D

But my tolerancy is overall average I would say.

Managed the 15 chillies at Salad King with a fight. My brother downed the 20 chillies once and my younger sister handles 20 chillies with ease. She just loves pepper. She usually snacks on chiefs habanero hot sauce.

I grew up eating pepper in everything and would usually make chow(any green fruit like mango, golden apple etc mixed with ground garlic, salt, black pepper, thai cilantro and a whole scotch bonnet pepper all ground up together and mixed in with the chopped up unripe fruit).

My Dad likes hot chillies on the side with his food and often has a cup of hot tea to make the burning more intense.

I like to crunch raw chillies when eating certain foods and you know it's really hot when you feel your ears get really get clear inside as though it was instantly dewaxed :cheesygri.

Eating pepper has a similar endorphin releasing effect to chocolate consumption.

I saw the spicy food contest on food network. Apparently, someone made a small jar of capsium that was 1 million scolville units. :-0 Thats crazy...can anyone handle that here? I know I can't..heck I have yet to try Scotch bonnets / Habeneros yet.

I have a volcanic digestive tract...I love spicy food more than life itself. Many foods are really just vehicles to move spicy flavours to my mouth.

YOU DIDN'T COOK IT????? :|

Wasabi isn't actually very hot. While I love the nasal rush, it doesn't have much to do with "spiciness". A very different kind of heat than a peppery heat.

in high school my friends and i gave $50 for someone to eat one of those peppers...after the kid ate it he was freaking out for a glass of water so someone poured him a giant glass of the vodka. he gulped it down then realized what he had done, and puked everywhere. :-0

good times...
