View Full Version : Motorola general help using Motorola Phone Tools

Hi there,

Just got a new phone and i was wondering how do u put your own songs into the phone? I got a USB with it and i tried to do the drag and drop but when i check my phone i cant find the songs i put in it.

Any help?

Your USB Cable should have came with a CD DISC. In most cases that DISC provides 2 things, 1) The driver for your Cell Phone and 2) Motorola Phone tools. If you not, snoop arround Cell phone shops arround the GTA and ask them for it. Its cheap and its very easy to use.

You can pull the memory chip (MicoSD) out and insert onto your computer via SD card reader. Then you copy all the songs to MicroSD.

There is an USB cable on the external SD card reader which you may need to purchase from the local friendly computer store. You then connect the USB cable on the USB port of your computer.

You can use shareware like MobilEdit (http://www.mobiledit.com/) to store songs to its tiny internal memory 5mb.

It looks for ur SIM card on the phone....i dont know if I can trust that!

Hey,

I have Motorola Phone Tools....does anyone use that? If so, then I need your help...When I try to transfer a song from my computer to my phone using the software, it says "Process Failed!"

Can anyone help me here?

theres a little piece of paper that should have came with ur motorola phone tools that said "if you experience any dificulty or have any questions about installing and using this product, please call our toll free number, its a lot faster than going onto the internet and posting your questins in a message forum that has no relivance"
