Hi guys,
I've been looking around for some cooking classes which my girlfriend and i can attend. I'm looking at something like once a week for a month where they will just teach you how to cook something each class. I noticed RCSS has these lessons but they are just one time things. Are there any cooking classes like this in Toronto? Looking to spend a reasonable amount where we can just have fun and cook/eat some new food :D.

Every September, the Toronto Star's Food section writes up a list of cooking schools. Here's this year's list >

OR,

i've looked throuh their website and it appears that what they offer are COURSES.
Are the ones listed in the star prices for each class cause i'm looking at around 100-200 bucks or so for several lessons.

You can take courses through TDSB Continuing Education Programs. They hold the courses are various schools throughout the city. Very reasonably priced. It's been years when I last went. Might take some again.
Link to brochure.

You can also try community centres.

I did a cooking course through Loblaws...if i remembered correctly i think it was $35 for about 2 hrs or so? you can look thru their website for diff cooking classes....i did the Italian cooking class & it was quite fun, altho we didn't get to do any hands-on practice :( ....nonetheless it's still something worthy for food lovers to consider...and if you're taking it with your gf together, it's even better! nice way to spend time together on something you'll both enjoy i'm sure :)
