I have been to a few mini sites but I can't seem to find out what is actually included in the "Mini checkpoint scheduled maintenance".
Any ideas?

Not much. :( According to the brochure I got at the Mini test drive event, it only includes the following...
Year One: Oil Service
Year Two: Service Inspection 1 (including oil service), brake fluid flush, corrosion inspection.
Year Three: Oil Service.
So in other words it covers 3 oil changes, one multi-point inspection (which is likely useless when the car is only 1 year old anyway, lol), one brake fluid flush (a good idea every 2 years of vehicle ownership), and a corrosion inspection (which any ****** with a pair of eyes can do, really).
They say it is a $615 value, which may be correct considering the dealer prices of things. Personally I'd say it's worth maybe half that if you were thinking of doing your own oil changes and your own "inspections". Brake fluid flush ain't hard to do either, but it would cost between $60-$100 to get it done at a shop.
The checkpoint maintenance isn't bad, but it's nothing spectacular either...
