when do the black ds lites come out again?
If you meant the DS Lite + game, its the 25th
DS Lite by itself is already out (3 flavours)

Edit
Let me correct myself.
It's the 27th that the FS deal comes out. Not the 25th that I started earlier.

heh... what great "timing" eh? ;)...

coupon only valid 'til the 24th, and the DS+game sale starts the 25th...
make sure we won't be able to get a better deal w/ coupon

**** decisions decisions :(, anybody know when they ship out the new gens? We can use GC's after the coupon eh ;)

edit: even with coupon/gc the 60GB comes out as the same price as a 30gb new..rather have a refurb +30gb imo!

Anyone? Of course, it still says September at the top, but read the small print at the bottom, and it says July. Obviously a typo, but I'm sure I'll get grief about it at the store. Some punk manager will accuse me of doing a bad job of fraudulently editing an online coupon. Yes, it has happened to me before.

Coupon works online (I just tried it) - just do a instore pickup to avoid shipping charges.

I hope this isn't too off topic. Has anyone had Best Buy ever matched this type of discount? I bought it at BestBuy for $149 and wouldn't mind getting $15 back.
If they don't, I may as well return it and get it at FS.

According to some posts in the Memberworks thread, the system can take either card. However, I don't know if you can convince a FS employee to let you use them.

That would be something we've heard of time and time again and potentially kill alot of BB/FS PM's

Imagine at BestBuy:

You: What do you mean you're the same company!....are you gonna say you'll take my FS GC too?
CSR: Why yes..yes I will
You: >:( and *walk away*

The new Nanos come out on Sept 27 according to FS.ca, but the coupon expires Sept 24. I wonder if we can preorder and prepay in-store with coupon and GCs.

Why don't you buy the current Nano (if you're getting 2GB or 4GB) since they're the same price... Don't open it, and then return it for an exchange when the new ones are out?

also, s/b mentioned that his/her friend tried to use a BB GC at FS (or the other way around?) and it actually worked...

i'd doubt the staff would let you do so tho....

heh... GL on that...

i remember back when BB had these "10% off coupons", but online only...

many RFDers went instore and asked if they'd PM their own online coupons, but no luck.

however, having said that, i did see this work once... when the new DSL came out, FS had the 10% off coupons (which would expire on the day that the DSL came out), ... i saw s/b at BB ask if they'd PM FS $15off150 coupon, and after a mgr's approval, it went thru....

YMMV.

Thanks for the suggestion, I'll go in there and ask. The old and new ones are under different SKUs so we'll see.

It does that to me at times (when using FS discount codes).

I found sometimes going back and forth (and re-entering the code each time) a few times *sometimes* work.

Seems like some kind of 'glitch' in their system. :?:

same here... must be a bug of some sort.

even tho after applying the coupon, the "$XXoff$XXX" may appear, and the discount may be seen at checkout pg, but that doesn't necessarily mean it went all the way thru... i.e. it doesn't show up on final checkout b4 "submitting order"....

weird.

anyhoo, for those who are worried, you could prbly just phone in and ask for a credit.

Bestbuy won't price-match the FS coupon so I had to return the DS Lite and buy it at FutureShop (with a mint to put it over 150). Really silly if you asked me. They now have an open box product that they'll have to sell at a discount anyways. :?:

I saw 3 girls pick up pink DS Lites. They didn't even know why they wanted it, they just got it because it was pink.

does FS sell Rogers Pay As You Go $100/365 day cards?

If so, would one be able to use this coupon on it and something else (to make up $50)?

???? There were several posts in this thread about using this on the Nanos and ipods.

BTW, no B&M Futureshops are taking preorders for the Nanos. They all told me the only way to do it is online, but I don't want to pay for shipping and I want to pay with giftcards.

If they still presell it in stores by the end of the week, I guess I'll order online with the coupon and try to do an change of payment when I get it.

Oh, my bad then. Well, even if it doesn't, you'll be saving $12 (shipping to me in BC is $2.99). And then, you can always do a payment method change in-store.

the website seems to "accept it" after you enter the code at the e-certificate webpage, but upon checkout it's not showing up.

anyway, like it's been mentioned many times, just phone-in afterwards for the price adjustment.

When I tried to get 15$ off HP ipaq 1950 purchase, the sales girl told me that it only applies if I buy on future shop credit card, her computer couldn't accept the coupon, though it doesn't say on a coupon that it's valid only for future shop cc purchases. I suspect it didn't work because the PDA had 30$ sale already, it probably does not apply to items on sale, does it?

No, it should accept on sale products as well. Just get another associate to help you or order it online.

i assume you purchased instore?

well, the .pdf instore coupon actually has fine print showing instructions of exactly how to ring in the coupon.

just tell the cashier to follow thru.

and of course the coupons apply to sale items!
