Why are people in the east getting better prices than us in Alberta?? The oil is here and we are paying 90+ cents a litre.

It is still around 99 cts in Vancouver. I think in is lower in the GTA because of a price war.

After looking at the chart for 5 mins, it seem like that we people live in Vancouver have been paying more than 10c/L (if not more) for the past 8 months already.

Why are we being treated like this?

I could be completely off-base here, but wasn't there some 'Sea-to-sky highway improvement' levy tacked on to the prices by the provincial government? I swear I heard something about this a few years ago...

Anyone know about this?

1) It doesn't matter where the oil come from, it matters where the refineries are. That's where the GAS comes from.

2) There's a price war going on in central Toronto. It won't last.
