The premium one-touch stapler SKU 555352 is currently priced at $15.99 online. The local flyer price currently has it on sale for $12.99 so a price match with Staples.ca using the following coupon codes the price comes down to $0.99.

Instore $12.99
minus coupon code 67040 - $10.00
totals $2.99 instore

Staples.ca current price $15.99
price match local flyer $12.99
minus coupon code 67040 $10.00
minus coupon code 67062 $2.00
totals $0.99 plus taxes

the coupon code 67062 will not work instore unless a csr takes the number from you without the coupon. Sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't.
Under $50 shipping delivery charges apply unless a) you are a gold dividends collector and b) located within the local trading area. Done deal!

It's a stapler. It opens and closes and staples things. For a dollar, what do you expect - a laser show?

In an old thread there was a lot of discussion about a part that often breaks... but I've bought two of these staplers and haven't had a problem. It's a great stapler. Really smacks out those staples -- you just have to press lightly and it takes over.

How do you got free shipping if you are gold? I am a gold collector, but when i check out, they just ask you for your credit card number without showing shipping charges, ....it doesn't say that i got free shipping either..

I'm a gold member too, it always show a $15 shipping charge for me, but when I call them, they told me that I won't be charged this fee, it's just a error on their website.

I have one, it is NOT worth a dollar, not worth the effort to buy.

It staples good for a while, then it starts acting up, it does not bend the staples properly (realy deforms them bad). Right now more than half of the staples I have to pull out and try agian.

Also it takes a bit of force to use this stapler, it is spring loading or something, 2 pages and 10 will require the same force to staple, it kinda sucks if you just want to staple 2 sheets together.

He asked a valid question. It may be only a dollar but who wants to clutter their house with junk?

Also, what if he pays $18 for it? THEN the question becomes valid?... I got one, and it seems pretty good... It feels sturdy, but something scares me about the unit not doing the snap thing over time. And that 100% guaranteed thing doesn't help that much either... it reminds me of those "LIKE SEEN ON TV" stamps...

online, the DEF says that there's an IR of $3 off reg. price ($16)

phone-in their online order CS line and simply ask 'em to do a price adjustment on this item.

actually, that PM form is really for their 110% PG against competitors...

if you want them to PM their own lower price instore/online, you only need to phone in for the price adjustment.

but if you'd rather not talk on the phone, i guess that's an alternative.

I've used that stapler at work and was most impressed. I've been waiting a long time to get a real deal on it.
