Hello everyone,

I recently got into a car accident with my 1999 Mazda Millenia S and the insurance company I'm with considered it a write off with over $4,000 of comestic repair. I know that they no longer build Millenia's and parts are hard to find. So I was wondering if anyone could suggest a dealership, collision centre, parts place I could sell the remains of my car too?

Thanks alot for any suggestions!

If your insurance company considers the car a total loss or "write off" then you don't get the remains of the car once they write you the cheque. Once they pay you out the money from the write off, they then have ownership of the car/remains, not you.

Unless you're trying to sell the remains thinking you'll get more than the insurance company is going to pay you?

Ya, they insurance say it's total loss, means the repair cost is more than the car value and they better off pay you the $ to buy that car instead of offer repairs.

If you plan to sell the car yourself....go to mazda forums, and part the car out privately, but it maybe be harder for the millienia since it's a rare car....

wheels, door, hood, headlight, tail lights. suspension, engine...etc

Thank you for the suggestion about the Mazda forum. I wasn't covered for collision with my insurance policy but for some reason they wanted to get a quote of repair from the collision centre I had the car at. So I'm basically on my own when it comes to getting rid of the car. I'm just looking to get rid of it and if I have to do the scrap yard rout then I'll just have to deal with getting $100 for it.
