Problems with the car are:

- Maintenance Required light on (problem with the fuse, will not reset, but Honda told me it is a problem with the '01 Civics. Note: MAINTENANCE REQUIRED is NOT the same thing as CHECK ENGINE)

- Dent on the side (hit with shopping cart at supermarket on the side of the car, shown in photos)

to fix that maintenance light, you're going to have to replace the gauge cluster

as for a check engine light, it doesn't matter with regards to safety, a car doesn't even need a motor or transmission to pass safety

The previous owner and myself both drove long distances daily due to work/school.

He used to go from Toronto to Waterloo, and I go from Toronto to Hamilton daily.

A compression test was done on the car and the stats that it shows when it was completed are very high. The car has higher mileage but it's also a very fair price and in excellent condition.
