I hope it's ok to post here.

I have 2 cleavers which I use for everything. It is just one piece of metal including the handle. When they got blunt I bought this knife sharpener for $35 and tried to sharpen them; doesn't work and my usual before-cutting habit of passing them over the bottom of a cup doesn't help as they're really blunt.

Is there anyone who will sharpen these for me? I went to the knife-sharpening place in Fairview Mall and they don't do cleavers.

I also have a serrated vegetable knife which is blunt. Is there any way of sharpening a serrated knife or should I just buy another one?

Try Nella Cutlery as they service many many restaurants.
There are several locations throughout the city.

afaik, you can't sharpen serrated blades, as i'm assuming it's a stamped metal blade (pretty thin metal). if it is possible, i imagine it's very pricey, and probably not worth it--just buy a new one

for the cleaver, there's sometimes a guy that drives up and down neighbourhood streets--or see if any of your friends have an angle grinder--that should work. plus, i'm pretty sure you can do the same thing with a dremel style drill, the proper attachment, and some patience.
