FX35 or RX350?

Lexus RX350 and Infiniti FX35

the new mdx will be much nicer

FX got 18" and HID as standard....RX get hv them on preimum only...

but RX is better on gas and better cargo space....these 2 is a turn down...other wise FX is good to go

The FX is nice, but I prefer the RX. The FX doesn't have the reliability. Forbes online had a list of most unreliable cars, FX was one of them. So were the Corolla, TUndra, Matrix.

FX35 is also made in JAPAN, has 280hp 270tq.......nicer interior(personal opinion), bigger wheels(18' 265 wide) so nicer handling.......no-brainer for me, but it's up to you.

I say FX too.....RX got no HID (premium only), 18" is options....and a bit less hp and toque :)

um... the RX350's interior is a lot nicer..infiniti has always been known for their cheap interiors and the FX is no exception

Lexus for reliability and great service.

Also support the canadian economy since the RX350 is made in Canada. You dont have to worry about lowered quality/bulid because the Canadian built ones are actually ranked higher than the japanese built ones in quality and reliability.

Not many people realize that many Canadian plants have been winning awards for years, especially oshawa plants.

They usually just lump all domestics under the crappy quality title, compared to Japanese cars, when in actuality, the Canadian built are just as good in initial quality as the Japanese.

um... the RX350's interior is a lot nicer..infiniti has always been known for their cheap interiors and the FX is no exception

do you have personal experience with both cars? of just seen few too many pics? i have personal experience with both cars, and fx interior is by far more refined and nicer.....oh and btw fx 35 has rear backup camera standart, and adjustable hid's(meaning you can aim them up or down) great when you are driving out of the city, much better projection.

I test drove the FX35, it's a nice machine. Amazing handling for an SUV, good power and stuning look. Alot of features for the price.

The lexus RX350 is as fast but cost more for the same options. It's cheaper on gas and more reliable.

I'll go with "Desalex" saying, if you want to smile while you drive pick up the FX.

Agreed. Personally I'd rather have the vehicle built in Canada than Japan. However in this case I'd probably choose the FX35 over the RX350 but having nothing to do with the FX being made in Japan :rolleyes:

Uh maybe you should ask yourself that question (are you out of your mind???). Because what you're saying makes absolutely no sense. If something is built better to begin with, how does it end up being worse afterwards? If something is built worse than something else to begin with how does it get better over time? yes i have, and the FX interior is typical infiniti, underwhelming compared to lexus or even acura with questinble materials and ergonomics. all the car mags ooh and ahh over the RX's interior and quality as is typical of lexus as well.... and adjustable HID's make no sense unless your purpose is to blind ppl and the RX's HID's are adaptive, which acutally makes them useful to seeing the road rather than blinding people.

The FX is a decent enough SUV/wagon, but if you want to talk refinement and quality, it is a few grades below the RX, just like all their other offerings with regard to quality and refinement and design.

there is a reason why the RX is best selling luxury SUV and sales soaring while infiniti is falling

Don't forget small cargo space and a harsher ride. I found the interior to be nothing special and somewhat cheap.
