Update: I have been contacted by mcg and the details for our meeting on Saturday have been finalized. I am hoping to secure a deal for a skt78 motherboard that supports 400MHz FSB soon, so that the CPU he sold me can be tested. I will consider compatible mATX boards if a deal can be done in time. LMK if you have anything for sale.

I am postponing my search for a motherboard until I get contact from mcg with the final details for our meeting Saturday. He said that he would choose a location to meet with me by today, but I haven't heard back from him yet. I'll update the thread as things progress. It's late and I have to go to bed now.

I need a P4 skt478 motherboard again. The MSI 845 Ultra motherboard that mcg sold me is DOA. We are currently making arrangements for a return of his equipment. I no longer need a HS&Fan as I completed a deal with gcw23 last night.

RAM - at least 256MB *pending*
CPU - *still untested**purchased* P4 1.8GHz Northwood CPU from mcg
