Show us what you wear from your day to day life!
Are you sporty, rockin basketball shorts + shoes and NBA jersey?
Preppy with Khakis, a Polo, and a sweater draped over your shoulder?
Grunge/Rock, with baggy jeans, plaid shirt and a kurt cobain t-shirt?
Here's me (showin' off the selvedge redlines):
http://xeb.xanga.com/93ba816bd313575275474/w50837788.jpg
Pictured:
- Levi's Capital E Selvedge 501
- Banana Republic Fitted Tee
- American Apparel unlined California Hoodie
- Adidas Rod Lavers
"Simply Casual" is my style. All the basics, t-shirt (both graphic and plain), jeans, sneakers. I'm picky, however. I demand everything to be well fitting, nicely put together, with minimal branding. Nothing loud or gaudy.
Pretty much jeans 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.
Other shoes in my daily rotation:
- Converse Hi-Top Chuck Taylors (Black w/ Red stitching/lining)
- Adidas Samba
- Lacoste sneakers (only when I really feel like flashing a brand)
Other Jeans in my daily rotation:
- Diesel Zathans
- Gap 1969 straight fit
- Levi's Rigid Premium Skinner (out of commission, shrank to testicle-owning proportions)
This is me dressed up for a night on the town:

Salvage or selvage? Are you still growing?
Clue me in please. I like your night out of town setup... very modest but quite full of flair at the same time.
My day to day wardrobe consists of Walmart Fruit of the Loom t shirts, Gap hoodie and jeans. I'm usually buying my unmentionables at Walmart because they're comfort level are acceptable and I don't have to worry about breaking the bank for that. The rest is basically a one stop shop at Gap.

Salvage or selvage? Are you still growing?
Taken from StyleForum's Denim Terminology Guide: (http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=9640)
Selvage (Selvedge) Denim
Selvage and selvedge mean exactly the same thing - different companies spell it differently and there apparently is no "right" way to spell it. It comes from the phrase "self-edge" which refers to the edge being finished by the loom instead of sewn together after weaving. [thanks Geowu]. Selvage is the term commonly used to refer to denim that has been produced on a shuttle loom. Since the amount of fabric produced from a shuttle loom is significantly narrower than a projectile (wide) loom, the cotton consumption is higher and the time required is greater. In selvage jeans, you will see the actual edge of the fabric where the weaving stops and is finished by the loom, as opposed to denim woven on a projectile loom, where the fabric has been cut off at the ends. The "redline" selvage is Levi's signature and was used in all their jeans up to 1982, before Cone Mills nixed them for the more modern projectile looms, which are faster and much more efficient.
Close-up of the Selvedge Seam:
http://xc7.xanga.com/45ca9b765703575275496/w50837801.jpg
Basically it means that it uses more fabric = higher quality denim.
I'm 20, so I don't think I'll be doing much more growing (I'm 5' 8", about average for a chinese guy).
I like your night out of town setup... very modest but quite full of flair at the same time.Yeah, thats exactly the kind of look I like to go for. Something that stands out and looks nice without any loud flashy trendy brands.
Its all about proper fit, and then mixing and matching colors and styles for that added 'flair' (although it sounds kind of gay, ). Like in my pic, well fitting blazer and jeans, for contrasting colors there's the Bright Red tee + Clean White shirt + Dark Charcoal blazer, then for contrasting styles there's the Shirt/Blazer + Jeans + Converse Chucks.

And honestly, my outfit did not break the bank, my T-shirt cost $8, and my jeans were $30 (Levi's Outlet Mall).
You can go to GAP and Old Navy and put together a similar combo for undder $100! A $30 pair of jeans from ON, $15 t-shirt and $40 hoodie from GAP.
Just remember, FIT is key.
Also, getting a job at GAP doesn't hurt either, coz you can get discounts at all Gap Inc. stores (Old Navy, GAP, Banana Republic) ;)

Hey we have the same color with stripe blazer (I got it from GAP). I'm having a hard time thinking of what to wear underneath.
I don't really like GAP or Old navy. They are kind of too plain for me (too white) and they're fitted for (fat) americans. H&M is my favourite store currently but slowly adjusting to club monaco because they feel tailored to my body (i'm not rich or anything but I do plan to buy shirts from there because they are an investment). The most important part about buying clothes is make sure they fit you well. If you find a brand that has cuts that fit you perfectly, no matter what you wear, you won't be sloppy and look cheap.
Currently, it's black+white stripe T from H&M, solid black hoody from american apparel, low rise+straight leg dark wash jeans from American eagle, white high top converse chucks.
http://www.clubmonaco.com/082006/images/m1.jpg
This will be my fall style except change the black jeans to a dark blue, the tie to knit tie (because it looks more street than formal), sleeves folded up, can be worn with high top white converse or an army boot i think. and change belt to http://shop.hm.com/media/products/425/DL425_54164_09090_01_2487.jpg

Haha, i bet we have the same blazer.
Yes, GAP in itself is quite plain, but because of it, quite good for mixing with other styles because it doesn't overwhelm.
I'm skinny, and I find esprit shirts fit me very well. CM is a tad big.
I wish we had an H&M on the west coast, I hear they have some decent denim. Right now I'm looking for a slimmer-fitting straight leg dark jean.
The one you mention from AE I think i've tried on. Did it feel like, kind of stiff when you first got them?
That look from CM is pretty chill. I haven't had the balls to pull of a tie in a casual setting yet. Dunno where to find slim ties suitable for that look (any suggestions?)

yah CM gives me more room to turn and stuff. H&M is a bit tight for me. I wonder how those europeans get so skinny lol! I'm chinese, I'm supposed to be more skinny than europeans!

I don't have much experience with jeans. They feel okay to me. If they're comfortable to you, u should get it. Jeans are always stiff when u first wear it from wash or from store(?). just stretch it with ur legs and couch and stuff.... it should be okay.

I found a tie from le chateau that's knit to keep it non-formal yet have the look of it. Ties are always neat.. I don't have balls to pull off one either but I do wear them at work sometimes (being receptionist). and i'm also 20 (starting 3rd yr uni).

Starting next month: navy and charcoal suits, light coloured shirt, tie optional
BTW, what's with young guys always wearing a t-shirt underneath a dress shirt? I think it looks ugly and childish. Try wearing the dress shirt by itself. A high quality shirt should not be see-through.

I wear them underneith for function, I button up my dress shirts overtop (not leaving them open) as a result. The function: when you sweat, you don't see a big-ass round sweat/salt stain on your collared shirts. The tee underneith takes care of that. To that extent, i've almost NEVER understood the purpose of a wifebeater underneith a collared shirt, as it provides no protection from the aforementioned cause.

You know what? You can make virtually any suit jacket a blazer, wear it with jeans and you'll look good. Just as long as it's a darker blazer, the lighter ones (beiges, whites, creams) don't go too well with dark blue jeans.

FCUK or Guess fitted T-shirt (usually XS or S and I'm 5 8) with slim stonewashed jeans. For shoes I wear Chucks, Reebok classics or RBK suede racing style shoes. That's what I usually wear in the summer. Sometimes with a slim fitting dress shirt instead of a T-shirt.. Maybe I'll post pics later..

I took them over Vans because I loved the black contrast lining and it was dirt cheap as well.

Basically it means that it uses more fabric = higher quality denim.
It seems like every company and their mother are coming out with selvage denim now. GAP has some coming out (or is it already out? I haven't seen it yet) this fall I think. I'm not exactly seeing what's supposed to be so great about it to justify it's almost 2x the price tag of non-selvage denim.
First off, is it the actual denim that is different, or just the edge of it that gets stitched up along the legs? If it's just the edge, well I've never had a problem with the edges of jeans coming frayed, ripped or torn so I fail to see why selvage would be worth the additional cost.
I'm not a part of the Walmart Jeans = Old Navy jeans = GAP jeans = Club Monaco Jeans = PDC/7s/Nudies/etc jeans crowd, but I do think that there is a point on the quality scale where unless you're making your jeans out of a cotton-titanium-kryptonite blend you cannot get any better. Fit and style are highly debatable, and depend on personal tyle and body type. I find jeans with excessive fading (caused by wear, or artificial) to be hideous. I don't like rips or tears. I don't like loose fitting, baggy, or tight fitting jeans. It just bothers me that some companies add a certain feature to enhance the quality of their jeans (selvage, better rivets, better stiching, etc) that cost a buck or two more to make, and yet they feel justified in doubling the price. It's quite obvious that this is done to make a brand more prestigious, and not available to "the poor, huddled masses" - but I don't like it when it's used as a "quality" selling point like "these jeans will last much longer because they are selvage denim".
And it's not just jeans that do this - the act of adding features that one would expect to be a part of a quality piece of clothing. It seems like every company is just out there to cut corners on cheap things that are expected, only to eventually end up putting these items on a "premium line" and doubling the price (and fattening the profit margins as well). I know every company does this. We see it in cars, we see it in appliances, food, electronics, etc. Consumerism has reached a point where the companies now have us paying more than we should for a minimum level of quality that we demand.
Wow, sorry to go off on a ranty, drunken, anti-establisment, egalitarian tangent. :) I just wanted to know more about selvage...

Just like wearing a pair of 7's and a lacoste polo, it gives the illusion of style. Its sorta one of those things where it doesn't look gay, so anybody can do it, but everybody does do it, so it's kinda lost its appeal espically if the jacket isn't fitted, or the jeans and the T's are sloppy. When done right it looks great, when done wrong its just boaring.
It's almost everybody got the same tip from queer eye 3 years ago, and it caught on like wild fire.

In high school I rocked baggy gear and brands such as akademiks, enyce, phat farm.
But now that im in University I realized that that style was 'ewww'. So I completely cleared my closet, got my jeans hemmed (thus not so baggy) and bought somewhat fitted hoodies and sweaters from brands such as LRG, Roots, AE, and H&M.
But buying jeans from designer stores are still an issue for me cuz its too tight and goes places I dont like. Dunno what to do about the problem, got used to looser jeans.

im slowly trying to move away from urban though...not too fond of the big ass shirts anymore heh......i still like urban hoodies....or some urban sweaters (the nice ones) are still pretty nice....i have this phat farm sweater that im in love with, but i wear it with a preppy outfit, it looks good. maybe i'll post up pics later

I follow the same rules. Back in high school it was baggy all the way. All those hardcore urban gear.
Now I just do a complete mix of things. Somedays I'm skater, sometimes preppy, sometimes casual, sometimes gino(dont ask :D), and sometimes even urban like back in the day. It's good, I like it. i think everyone should have different styles for different days, as goes by the mood...for me the main thing is...it doesn't have to be brand name, the combo has to match and as long it looks good on you, it's good

Yea, most of the time when I wear my hoodies, its half zip but this one, the hoodie the end of it is not like tight so it like dangles and it feels annoying.

At first for the novelty of it. But then I decided against it and now I don't hem them, I just let the extra length stack on top of my shoe.
Doing so reminds me of people who purposely buy a certain shirt with a huge logo on the front, just to show off that they own something from that brand. Lame but at least you decided against it.

I used to buy Big Star clothing when it was still made in Italy...now its become a crap brand and supposedly sold by Zellers too I hear.

Blazer w/ shorts is actually a "fad" arising from runways. A lot of models from last season's fall edition showed a ton of guys wearing blazers w/ preppy plaidish shorts. Looks OK in my opinion as long as its played right w/ the perfect length/width of the shorts and the right type of shoes.

BTW - the sleeve length on your blazer is too long.
It should be shorter and should break at or about your wrist bone ...not come close to touching the knuckles on your hand ( as yours does ).
Who sold you this blazer anyway ?

yea it was tristan and america.
I believe it came in s/m/l large sizes, nothing adjusted on it. Yes, I'm considering shortening the sleeves, I find its only slightly long. I dont want it as short as a suit jacket as it's a casual blazer which would sometime be worn without a dress shirt. If i shortened it to hit the wristbone, it might look short as there is no 1/4 -1/2" of cuff to show and lengthen the visual length of the sleeve.
I have a peacoat that I ordered off ebay that hits at my wrist, though an entirely different from the blazer, it looks definitely too short. It does however look kinda cool with a red long sleeve shirt. The contrast between the red "cuff" and black sleeve is neat and the bit of red cuff lengthens the look of the sleeve to make it look right.

sorry i didn't really get ur point... everyone might be like 5 a day at yorkdale? von dutch was literally on everyone... 50 a day at yorkdale? and bape has always been exclusive and will continue to be. they still produce mostly the same amount of items for each drop (maybe it has increased a little lately...) since when did 500 ppl line up for 25 items at von dutch stores?? they produce as much as the public can consume, but that's not true for bape.... so again to reinforce the point, bape can't be compared to von dutch....
the everyone you mention are 99% fakes. of the 5 a day you see at yorkdale, probably only 1 or 2 or even none are wearing authentic bape.
and yes, i do know the whole meaning behind "a bathing ape"

The fit is perfect IMO. Jacket's right length- length of sleeves, I think, is right as well-- I don't like having sleeves cutoff at the wrists if it's something casual (someone mentioned this already). I looks like he's going for a preppy but still casual look- with tighter jeans, it may just end up looking preppy and boring.
Yes, brand names doesn't automatically = cool -- I'm sure people know that. But seriously, did you have to put the thrift store, and money waste bit in there? That's how flame wars get started.

Good example of terms being loosely flung around also. Tight jeans? Not like his is a "loose/baggy cut", look at the crotch and hip area - its not "loose". By fit, it means the cutting of the pants itself, along w/ the proper hemming of the inseam. Its not a matter of "loose" jeans or not, its whether of not it FITS.
"I just don't like tight jeans" - you're not going to be wearing loose jeans your whole life. Sooner or later, you're gonna notice how much of a clown you looked and eventually slip into straight/tapered cut pants/jeans. Don't use the "comfort" excuse too, because if comfort is what you wanted, you wouldn't wear denim, you'll wear sweatpants or something light weighted. And by saying that phrase, it doensn't send the message of "I am well endowed" over to others. Not implying you did, but I'm just being an e-troll now and venting online.

If that is insecure, then I guess thats what I am.. it sure has been working for me!

The bottom line is - if you look good you feel good. People can look just as good in inexpensive clothes as in "fancy" clothes. Paying attention to how you look does matter.

I dont even get what was the point of criticizing his outfit. this is NOT a what are you wearing today thread. Its a post your own style. if thats the guys style, whats the point of even saying terrible fit. fit is all subjective. Perhaps to a sufu/SF audience (A MINORITY) it may be "terrible" based on their standards, but to others it may be great. People need to stop trying to shove their style down other peoples throats.
This thread looks like its going to go to the shits just like the other one and in very much the same fashion.
this quote from UP from the other thread has some relevance.

As long as you're not wearing sweatpants and a sweatshirt that says BLUE JAYS WORLD SERIES 1993, it's OK. But honestly, some people take fashion a little too over board. Clothes are clothes, at the end of the day no one really cares.

No. YOU don't care. You don't pay attention to what you wear. How can you say for other people that they don't care?
And what point are you trying to make with your two lines of incomprehensible nonsense? I said wear stuff that fit. It's not just what you wear. Its the image of a civilized society that you are presenting.
As long as you look good to yourself, I don't understand why people need to buy expensive clothes to make themselves look good and therefore feel good. Kind of sad.
Maybe to you, clothes don't hold a whole lot of value. But given that you are like every other normal person, you have hobbies and you satisfy yourself by purchasing things that others might regard as ridculous because they can't justify it in their mind. We buy what we value. Why do you think we're as advanced as we are? We don't NEED a lot of the things we have, but we still have them. So every consumer is "sad" because they buy stuff they don't need?
Grow up. The fact is we all judge other people. You think you're making a point by defending a "wear whatever" attitude but you judge others just as much as any other person, but maybe on a different level. I'm sure you have a hobby or interest and spend an amount of money that I cannot justfiy in my mind. Does that make it "sad"? No.
To have nice clothes is one thing. To be vain, self-centred and condescending is another. People often just throw these things together when it doesn't neccessarily relate.
Fabulaz, you gotta get outside of that small world you're in...no1 gives a **** about what you wear.

The argument is not really about expensive clothes, its about clothes that fit according to their standards.
but to say nobody cares about how you look is quite a stretch, particularly with first impressions where you dont know anything about them. After you get to know them, thats another story. nobody thinks along the line of your example
"I met a man today, he had a nice Armani suit but he was a prick....but he's a good man..Armani suit!
I met a man today, wore a nice pair of jeans and a shirt...awesome personality. But I HATE HIM, he dresses so blah."
Now if, the guy with a pair of jeans and shirt, gives off the image of a prick, even though he is a great guy, nobody/less people are going to approach him.
If the guy in the suit gives off the image that he's a great guy, more people are going to approach him, regardless if hes a prick.
The only person that cares about how you dress is yourself, but thats not to say that its not going to affect how they interact with you. Probably the only people that would have a vested interest in how your dress are the people that may be affected by your appearance. ie employers, wife/gf or whoever.

obviously when you wear designer clothes you can claim to "feel" the difference (which I can understand with shirts etc, but not necessarily jeans) but to other people looking on it's just the design of the shirt (assuming they don't see a label). a $10 shirt could have a cool design vs a $150 LV tshirt with no design. the $10 shirt would be more interesting :cheesygri

I guess your right :/ lol, but i just think he was rubbing it anyways, as for loose fitting, in my case I wear something like: except I dont have designs or anything on them but thats how loose my pants are usually, I don't like the harsh loose look either, but the tight look is imo more feminine, I say that because I've had my parents getting me something tight and its very uncomfortable, because the jeans wrap tight around your thigh's when your sitting down or crouching.. and I don't wanna show off my legs :/ thats why I wear something slightly baggy :)

Wearing jeans loose is fine. Just that when you wear it with a blazer it looks really off. It's like wearing a fedora, then a tee with unicorns and rainbows, then leather pants with studs and spikes and chains, and keds for shoes. Doesn't go down well.

Blazers and loose fitting jeans clash and don't go together in most cases. There's probably the rare case where someone can pull it off, but it doesn't mean anyone can do it.
I would actually second that comment that working out and being in shape makes clothes look better on you. I guess being shape makes you more confident and feel better about yourself in the first place though. I definitely couldn't pull off most of the outfits that are being shown on here, I don't have the same body composition.

When it comes to "high brands", "cheaper" means lower class. Even at Holt's D&G is never mixed with Dolce&Gabanna. D&G has constantly made horrible designs ie. the tees with the HUGE "D&G" at the front, while Dolce&Gabanna are the ones who has made a few selected timeless pieces that are subtle. D&G is SAID to be targetted towards younger clientelle, but its obviously lower par in terms of quality and design.
Funny how you said, "wait until you see the back of my jeans". The "other story" it lead to was totally horrendous.

Yeah it does. Take Mercedes Benz for example. The C and B class were added onto their lineup of vehicles only to try to capture the "younger" / "lower income" groups and expand their market. This, along w/ the lower price tag, sacrificed the exclusiveness and QUALITY of build in their cars. Same thing applies.

Yeah, you have the right to judge, but you also stopping a lot of people post their styles at here, because they may afraid of the bad comments, so they think why the hell I post my pic at here and get a lot of bad feelings, am I a idiot? Then, less and less people post, at last you got nobody to judge, and it will be the end of this thread. At least, I will never post any pics again at RFD.

The first problem here is you are comparing cars with fashion, 2 completely different industries different marketing and very different products so I don't even want to go down this path.
As for fashion, Dolce & Gabbana carries suits, nice dress shirts, plain Ts, ties, clean lines... etc. so how many teenagers think about buying a suit? You may not like D&G's style but those labels differ by style not by class.

I used it as an example. Not a direct comparison. When and where did I say I was a pro? And by what you said, if Marc Jacobs appeared on your doorstep now and told you spandex tights and headbands are the way to go, you'll do it? Not professionals, but once you're wearing what you're wearing of trying to achieve a "posh" / "tidied up" look with the dress shirts and blazers, you would think you would know the basics of not to wear baggy jeans with the rest of the outfit.

I always get a chuckle out of seeing guys strutting down the street in their pastel coloured polos with a popped collar. Funnier when it's a cheapass polo. Never liked popped collars, but especially on polos...way too contrived and makes the person look like they're trying too hard, which is usually ok for girls because it's expected, but IMO that's not hot for guys.

I'm not getting the issue of the "popped collar" that was in his pic. To have a popped collar would mean that the collar actually needs to lie down flat normally, ie peacoats, polos, suits, dress shirts etc.
With the m65, there is no collar to pop.. its designed like that. At least for a version of the jacket like that.
http://www.worldofsurplus.com/ishop/images/1061/m65field.jpg
A case of broken telephone.. everyone keeps posting about popped collars... oh no popped collar.. popped collar this.. popped collar that.. but most of them are chiming in about popped polo's or dress shirts, which has no relevance.

That's right... on the M65, the collar is upright. Some fashion-replicas of M65s have no zip collars, and can lie flat, like a blazer collar. It's also fine on peacoats and serves a purpose in colder weather. I've popped my collar when golfing in cases where I forgot to put sunscreen on my neck. It's not a fashion show on the links anyway, so I don't give a damn what some 70 year old man thinks of my collar ;)

I really don't identify myself with any style. I never shop in just one place and I don't care for brands.
I usually like simple outfits that won't go out of style easily. I'm also pretty frugal, so my main destinations are outlet stores like Winners, Tj Maxx, Marshalls. I tend to shop for things that are on sale.
I get sucked into certain current trends, like leggings, Ugg Boots or slim pants..
The only things I invest in are handbags, coats or quality boots/shoes.
I'm really tall and skinny, so I like slim fitting clothes, but I think I can pull off any look.

So yeah, I definitely love to mix up the high and low fashion, I find it gives my look more depth, and more enjoyable to wear. No problem with rocking a cheap $5 Giordano a-shirt if it makes me look good.
Not sure how I would sum up my style in a sentence.. probably monochrome rock. Actually I use my clothes to express my own idea mostly, so my style changes almost every year, I guess. So definitely, a lot of the things that are really driven on the internet, I dislike, like tapered jeans (Nudies, etc.) as I think having a body does look good. Anyways, I don't care that I do things that people hate, like popped collars, or on lapels, etc.

Kris dim has a waist thats under 30 inches. HE claims to be a 28.
Well that is just his waist size........ there is no way in hell he is able to wear size 28 jeans. His quads are wayyyy to big to fit in jeans size 28.

Let's give this another go, I'll start it off...
Before I begin, have a few things to say.
Remember everyone: 'Beauty is in the eye of the beholder'. Just like style, it varies from person to person. Some posters in this thread may think wearing excessively skinny jeans constitutes as stylish. I, like many others have different definitions of style.
When I look at someone, I look at them collectively, not piece by piece. I think Fabulaz was criticizing Kent because his jeans didn't fit. In my opinion, Kent's jeans were just alright. Again, in my eyes there was collectively nothing wrong with what he was wearing, however different people have different interpretations. But if Kent were to wear baggy FUBU jeans, I'd have found it weird...cause at a quick glance, it wouldn't seem nice...some may have not.
So, what do I think is style? I think everyone has style, and like beauty, I find certain styles nice and others not.
The problem arises when people think their style is the best bar-none, but this is an issue... as style... as mentioned before, is subjective...it's all in one's interpretation of style.
So let's begin...
http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/7655/img1hz7.jpg
I took this picture about a month ago, wore this two weekends ago.
-So the sweater is a black Calvin Klein, Italian Merino Wool.
-Below, is a dress shirt with a polka-dotted pattern, between the circles are light blue shapes. I tucked the collar, to create an illusion of a longer neck.
-the jeans, aren't really apart of the photo. But I went with a dark wash, there are whiskers.
I will admit, this probably wasn't executed well. But...I'm not trying to create a particular image/style/scene or anything. I've seen argyle or various geometric patterns to be popular at stores like Mexx and H&M...but I just don't like it :|
Ackh ya.
http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/8724/img2iz8.jpg
So this was from last night, posed like this for humor's sake.
-A standard black wool jacket, Dockers.
-The jeans are light was, Calvin Klein...you may remember my thread
-The scarf was from Mexx, a little more white would've added some contrast.
As you can see, my style is very conservative...although playful. I like to keep it classic and timeless..sure, skinny jeans may be the rage...but a classic pair of jeans is always nice. A sweater, good ol' sweater, mix it up..wear a color that matches and works with your shirt underneath. KISS, keep it simple silly. I see people wearing Bape...yikes................crazy patterns.
Mind you, this is what I wear when going out...during the week (school) you can see me walking around downtown with sweatpants, Crocs and hoody/sweatshirt, same coat, maybe a Blue Jays hat as well.Too lazy to spend more than 2 minutes getting dressed.

This summer I'm going frat boy stylez. Overpriced brand name shoes, overpriced polos + stripy shirts, overpriced jeans. I've given up on "cool internet skinny guy style" (nudies, spruce polos, and chucks) after realizing that polos/jeans suit my frat boy body type. Sort of like the guys in the pic :D
I'm still at it. A&F polo, TR jeans, Lacoste shoes/AF1s every day. Durable clothes that girls like and which take no effort.

Hmm.. Im kinda of in a transition from urban loose clothing like Ecko, shady ect. to a above-average lifestyle kind of style. Mind you i'm not even considered adult-age yet...
This is what I wear daily... may post pics later:
Pair of glasses
Adidas/Bape/A&F t-shirt
A hoody, various brands here from Ice Cream BBC to Esprit :D
Pair of straight, a bit closer to loose jeans (Evisu, Levis, True Religion)
Pair of Nike Dunks or SB's.
Sometimes I might sport a fitted as well, shoes are the most important to me, and therefore I usually buy my tops to match shoes.

Yea popped collars almost never work out, except for peacoats. (especially when it's really cold and windy)
I was in Asia for several months and I have seen a LOT of males - locals, expats, tourists - from teens to seniors, sporting the popped collar. WHY???!!!

Getting a little older now so out with the urban wear.
Office Wear - 4 Days a week
Shirts (Loose to fitted) - Steven Alan, Jcrew, Uniqlo, Obedient Sons and BoO
Khakies - Usually BR or Jcrew, a regular fit. Would like to start to wear slimmer pants, just have not found one that works
Shoes - JV Brogues but usually dark sneakers (W+H/CP) - yes kinda of pushing with dress code but nobody has said anything
Weekend Wear / Casual
Jeans - Love my raw denim so they are my dedicated weekend wear since I don't get to wear the during the day on the weekdays
Tshirts / Thermal - W+H/Wing&Horn and Basestation
Hoodies - W+H/Wings&Horns
Shoes - My sneakers I wear for work :)
Don't know what my style is but I guess burrow from the prep/workwear category (love flannels and EG pieces). I'm way pass the logo being pasted on my clothing/shoes phase - its all about stealth style for me. When buying clothes I usually ask myself "Can I wear this in another 3 years?"
