BOULDER, Colorado (CNN) -- The DNA sample taken from John Mark Karr does not match DNA found on JonBenet Ramsey's body when she was murdered in 1996, CNN affiliate KUSA is reporting.

I remember hearing a headline that said he wasn't even in the same state during the time of the murder.

Apart from his eccentricity, the man may be a genius. He may have some shady past involving children in Malaysia so pleading guilty to a murder he knows DNA test would clear him (i.e extradition to the U.S) also saved him from possible execution from Malaysian laws.

I think he should be thrown in jail regardless.
If he committed a crime, he should - not just for looking creepy.

Posession of child pornography, falsely confessing to a crime... i'm pretty sure those are crimes.

He doesn't just LOOK creepy, he IS creepy.

IMO he is in all likelyhood a completely unnecessary and non-productive member of society. Only place for him is in jail.

Unless there were 2 intruders - and he was 1 - who entered the home.............

Detectives working for the Boulder district attorney now believe that one, possibly two, intruders entered the Ramsey home and killed JonBenet and they are finally concentrating their efforts on the underside of Boulder that was largely ignored during the initial investigation.



.......so, he may have been there but left no DNA.

Very unlikely, but intriguing, especially if his handwriting is a close match to the ransom note.

He didnt confess to the crime... "she died accidentally" doesnt mean he was there, he was laying out his words wisely. As for the child pornogrpahy, well its not to be thrown in jail for. Did he actually rape a preteen girl.


Dont sentence the man for something he didnt do. If thailand is the place to have sex with underage kids and get away with it, then at least he took those precautions, he did it where he wouldnt get caught. Just because hes creepy doesnt mean he deserves to be put in jail.

I think now theyr looking for reason to put him away, but of course his 15 minutes of fame turned him into a profitable money making machine for the motion picture biz.
