Ask them instore to pricematch.
The store will need to verify that there is stock available at the competitors.

They definetly would not price match against small stores. They only price match against their competitors like Canadian Tire / Wallmart all those Big Canadian Bully stores in which they would do a price match yet they don't price match with Tiger Direct.

This RFD guide (http://www.redflagdeals.com/deals/main.php/articles/pricematching/) should have the information you're looking for.

They have good reason for not wanting to price match with TigerDirect.
Business logic states that there is no way Tiger Direct could offer a price so much lower than cost at other stores without something being fishy.

i find that every time i go do a PM at FS or BB, they seem soooo dumb-founded that other stores sell stuff for cheaper then they do. even big box stores. like yesterday when i did a PM at BB and FS to PM walmart and they seemed like it was not possible for walmart to sell things cheaper then they do... *rolls eyes

I PMed something at futureshop from compusmart once. I printed out the page and brought it in. Took some time, and was a bit of a hassle... they wanted to charge me shipping, and had like 4 different people give the okay... but I finally got it.

Hey,
when you price match do you get the item you wanted for cheaper or do you just get the same price?

Well in the case of not matching big box stores, whoever you dealt with was an idiot.
They do have good reason to not pricematch places like TigerDirect and CanadaComputers. Like I said, business logic states that there is no way TD and CC could sell so far below the COST price of FS.
When I worked at FS, I pm'ed TigerDirect and CanadaComputers a couple times, but only when the sale price was still above our cost price. Otherwise there is no reason to do it because FS loses money. Better to remain status quo than lose money, right? Worst that happens is someone comes on here and bitches about it, but you know what? That same person will still shop there again.
