Is my CPU working???

here is the set up / story:

AS Rock GE PRO - M2 working or not??
2.4 Ghz Celeron - info here (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=329305) working or not??
256 DDR RAM confirmed working
old 4x agp video card confirmed working
300W PSU probably working

i plug in everything, turn on power switch..the cpu fan starts spinning, but nothing displays on the monitor.......it has onboard video and AGP slot..i tried both already. then when i press and hold the power switch, the thing turns back off.

so is my CPU working? i think only mobo is busted..help..

How'd you confirm the video card was working?

Anyways, when in doubt that the motherboard is not posting, clear the CMOS and try agian.

we can't tell. If there are no beeps at all when you turn it on, then it's either the motherboard that's dead or the cpu.

I used the video card in another computer and it works. I tried clearing CMOS already, no response.
