I was just in Staples and they had a really attractive screensaver of an aquarium with life-like fish on their Viewsonic monitors. I realize that there are many free screensaver sites but I haven't been able to find this one. Does anyone know where to find this? Of course I'm looking for freeware! :)

The screen saver comes with Windows Media Center Edition (MCE) or with the Windows XP add-on pack (who's proper name escapes me right now).

Not freeware, but you can find out all about it here:

That's probably the screensaver I saw or a close imitation. I can't justify $19.95 USD for it though but it's really nice!

Thanks anyways! :)

Just be careful when downloading free screensavers, many come with some unwanted spyware.

I'm not sure what they're selling now. But I bought the SereneScreen Marine Aquarium (http://www.serenescreen.com/product/maquarium25/) from Staples before.

There is also a related Goldfish Aquarium (http://www.lifeglobe.com/product/Goldfish/) product.

Easy enough to confirm, but I'm confident it's the MS screen saver.

They (the MS one & Serene Screen) are the same thing. I believe the MS one was a "light" version of Serene Screen Marine Aquarium.

the program is free, but when you want the fish, you have to buy the fishes for your screen saver..

Here is another aquarium screensaver LINK (http://www.allume.com/win/aquazone/)

AquaZone desktop garden includes:

* 20 different species of fresh or saltwater fish!
* 8 different tanks - each with unique plantlife and coral!
* Virtual schools of one or more species - support as many fish onscreen as your computer can handle!
* Beautiful, realistic day and night lighting conditions
* Digital food – feed them and watch them eat
* “Tapping” on the glass – watch as the fish watch you
* Fish cam – closely follow your favorite fish friends
* Soothing sound effects
* Your choice of 8 photorealistic backgrounds
* Pop-up interface – customize your aquarium on the fly

You can also get turtles, jellyfish and other crap.

It costs $20 but i got it free from rapidshare. I wouldn't pay a dime for these stupid screensavers they are fun for about 2 minutes and that is it.
