RFD is Hiring! LF: Junior PHP Programmer

RedFlagDeals.com is currently looking for an junior PHP programmer to work on projects including their new online shopping search property, PriceCanada.com, as well as RedFlagDeals.com.

Requirements
• Knowledge of object oriented PHP (preferably PHP 5)
• Experience with mySQL

Additional Details
• 40 hours per week, 9 AM - 5 PM Monday to Friday
• The job is at our offices around King and Dufferin in Toronto, less than a 5 minute walk from the Exhibition Go Station


Compensation
• $30,000 - $40,000 per year

30K for intermediate? You really mean for somebody with 2-3 years of real project experience? Is it going rate for PHP? Good thing I never bothered to learn it.

More likely someone just out of school who has programmed PHP projects on their own.

We just don't want someone who *thinks* they can learn PHP.

Seems kinda low to me, but I don't really know the salaries for PHP people (/me java/.net). A good experience for those in web design nonetheless.

No it's year round. Only the express trains skip it (they also skip Mimico, Long Branch, etc).

There's also a street car stop about 3 mins away for those in the city.
