Need Help and suggestions!!

hi all i really do not no where to post this here's my question i worked for this food company for 6 months i was assaulted at the job it was the 2nd time it has happened to i never went back now there with holding my pay can they do that and if not what should i do about getting it back? can i still do something about the assault but the manager isn;t there anymore i really do not no i went onto a different food establiment gonna train to be a chef please help need people's advice

first off.. you need a better thread title than 'hi'.. lot of people will ignore it.

Anyways.. if you have proof of the assault (like witnesses) take it up with the labour board or the police.

that's actually not the main problem. the main things to consider:

1. did you report it to anyone?
2. where there any witnesses?

if you did these two things, it doesn't matter if he's still at the company or not

problem is that the employer who witnessed this still works there and really i don't wanna go there!!!! lol

If you have a valid witness, you should definitely at least get them to write down what happened so you have a copy. If you don't want to go back there, send a friend to talk to this witness. There is absolutely no excuse for assault, escpecially twice!

I think you should definitely go to the police.

thanks for alot of help and support on this matter here is what i'm gonna do get my wife to call where i worked before! and ask to speak to this one person also i filled a claim with the labour board and sent an email to the employeer who i preciously worked at declaring that i filled a claim and to meet my demands by this date if not i will go ahead with the application and my 4% vacation pay too : :lol:

called the police this is what happened he say's if i'm going to get a charge against this person will not happen sinse the criminal system is so back logged police offer told me he seen incidents where a guy punched another guy and was let free and the judge laughed and said there no evidence but he did have evidence black eye broken noise!! cuts and scrapes this justice systemm is so ****ed up it's so unbeliveable :cheesygri
