I been to a couple of interviews and the hiring managers have promised me to call me back and didn't. I have call them and unable to contact them. I wore a suit and have answered the questions in a proper way, always punctual. What have I done wrong? Or they just being jerks?

I don't they they are mad at you, they said they will call you back, they would only if they decide to hire you.

I mean no disrespect here, but do you understand how the hiring process works?
It's not all about showing up ontime, looking nice and answering questions.... Often times companies will interview tens, if not hundreds, of people for a limited amount of positions... Not everyone can get the job. Most times they're looking for a very specific type of person with a certain skills set and education just to name a couple pieces of criteria.
I do understand what you mean about how it's not exactly nice to be told "We will call you" and never hear back, but unfortuantly, this is how things are sometimes.
For some people, they're lucky and will fall right into an ideal job, for others it can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. As with a few above posts, some places will call you weeks/months down the road... Like government for example, it's called the "Hurry up and wait" situation. :)

Employers don't have time to be mad at you - even if you did something insanely stupid. So:
1. They're busy
2. They don't want you

I had one say he'd call me back in a "week or two" but eventually he called 3 months later with a job offer!

Not properly communicating with candidates really reflects poorly on an organization.
If it makes you feel any better, would you really have wanted to work for an organization that displays a complete lack of professionalism when dealing with candidates?
