wake up real early and cook her breakfast....get some flowers and a nice birthday card too(or make your own card..its more personalized)

Get a blank card and write Happy Birthday, I love you Mom.
It means more than the crap Hallmark writes.
Now for flowers, I know Longos sells Orchids for $7-9 for three stems.
These are really unique flowers. Just tell her "anyone gets roses or carnations,
these flowers are meant just for you, or something sappy like that.

They last 3 weeks and they have some really nice bright colours, like these below
