It varies from location to location but in NCR it's around 35.

However, I spoke to a CSR and to add additional channels (say, like the Ultimate TV Pak), it voids the deal.

There is no way that they would cancel the deal if you wanted to add extra products to your account.
If the CSR told you that, then they probably wanted to be able to cancel your account and get the commission for signing you up on another package.

We all know that Rogers will do whatever it takes to get you to use their products, because once you have them (like the PVR for me), then it is nearly impossible to give it back.

Ultimate TV should be the VIP package is it not (regular $55.97) promo price of $49.99

Basically if you work it out, it's about $15 cheaper than the 4 month 25% off promo I signed up for earlier.

The VIP package is better overall. There's more included in the price than just by adding stuff.
