Hi all! This is my first contribution to RFD. Did a quick search and didn't find anything so hopefully it's not a repost.

Kleenex is now on sale for 99c at PharmaPlus, 5 bonus Air Miles for 3 boxes. Sounds pretty good to me already. Plus, there're a bunch of $1 off coupons for every 2 boxes' purchase. Turns out to be a pretty nice deal! (I found these coupons in many SDM and PharmaPlus locations)

Bought 6 boxes with 3 coupons, $3.78 tax in, 5 bonus AM . (I actually bought 12 :lol: )

Nope there's no limit. The woman (seemed to be a supervisor) did try to stop the cashier to let 9 boxes through for as she said, "these are on sale already, you can't use the coupon", "it's like getting them for free", I was like :confused: how come they're free? and I never had any problem using coupons on any on sale merchandises. I asked for a written policy she just kept repeating her previous statements. Finally she let me have 6, which was good for me: 9 isn't good for the coupons.

Then I asked my friend who was in store with me to pick up another 6 for me - the woman kept staring at us all along.

So I got my deal, but I'm not likely shopping with this location again.

Is it a store coupon or a coupon from the manufacture? Usually, if it's a manufacture, they have to take it. After all, if you read it, the store can claim the value of the coupon + postage from the company who made the coupon.

Right, that's a manufacturer coupon (by Kimberly-Clark). I was astonished when meeting such a situation for the 1st time. She was like jealous and pissed, but why??

Funny thing was, I got some coupons with me b4 going into store. But I was surprised to find that they had a whole stack of coupons on the shelf as well! How dumb could she be to let the customers get the coupons right on the spot, then retract them at the cashier?

hehe I wish. But I didn't mark down the woman's name, and that'd take me a lot of time without promising outcomes. I guess she didn't notice about the 5 bonus AM! Otherwise she woulda told the girl not to scan my card.

I might get a few more from another PharmaPlus. Great price and good AM. (I wish we could have the decent AM deals like the ppl from the west!)

bought quite a few yesterday...

got my coupon from shoppers and used it at pharma plus in Toronto...

I didn't have any problems although they ran out of the one that qualify for the 5 Airmiles but I bought the other kind that are on sale anyway..

I also bought 6 today. very good deal. on sale, plus coupon, plus AM :)
I got the coupon from Dominion and used it at PP. PP didn't have those coupons

The KC coupons I have with a 11/30/06 expiry states, "Limit one coupon per purchase as specified above." The above is one coupon per 2 packages Kleenex or a Bundle Pack. No reference to limit.

Wow, 6 boxes for 3.00 is an excellent price for kleenex. My previous best price ever seen for tissue was 59 cents / box for Majesta at Jean-Coutu. The air miles make it even sweeter.

I wonder if I can get this deal at the local Guardian - they are a Rexall chain.

exactly. even the cheap one like Shoppers Life brand sells for 49 cents (the lowest when it's on sale)

Totally! I went to get 2 x 6 more today! Love the great price plus AMs. Had no problem using the coupons - passed by 2 PharmaPlus on the way so bought 6 at a time for in case :lol:

PS: One of them has the coupons on the shelf, the other doesn't.
