I'm looking to buy a camcorder that's under $500. Anyone have any recommendations or seen a great deal going on?

If you dont mind Digital8 This is a great camera for a great price. I think FS B&M have them for $349

I am actually looking for a MiniDV Camcorder....I actually missed out on deal from US DELL for Canon Elura 100 for US$300 couple of months ago...I'm getting desperate as baby is arriving soon and I have no camcorder. Any ideas for any good deals below Can$500 or cheaper places than FS or BB?
