Anyone going to College?

I'll be going to Sheridan college...living off campus too. Hoping to meet a fellow RFDer there :)

hehe...sorry about the spelling...can ya tell I never went to college! :lol:

Son will be going to mohawk,(Off Campus),,some technology course, drafting, computers..etc...
He doesnt know what to expect..as far as buying books & needing a laptop.
Im more stressed than he is~~ >:(

Relax, they will let you know what you need. Its not a big rush for everything.

:( Son just got back from Orientation,,& he is a bit "Overwhelmed"...to say the least.. it seems there is a FEE for everything..lockers, books, cards, sport, clubs, parking..etc...
& then there is the LIST of books he needs to buy..whooaaa! I guess i wasnt Prepared?
In his "student booklet" it says you can "rent" a Laptop for $1,400.- :confused: well, I just bought him one...WHY would they charge SO much $$?
I guess it will take time to get used to...;-)
